About Somatic Experiencing(R)
Healing Trauma & Stress through the Body
Somatic Experiencing(R) is a holistic therapy that focuses on the body responses that occur when someone experiences or remembers an overwhelming or traumatic event. The therapy helps to re-set the nervous system, re-establishing the natural flow between mind and body.
The therapist will gently guide the client to feel bodily sensations or to complete self-protective motor responses. This facilitates a release of thwarted survival energy bound in the body, thus addressing the root cause of trauma symptoms.
Peter Levine, leading researcher in the healing of trauma and founder of the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute(TM) developed Somatic Experiencing(R). The therapy is backed by over 45 years of research and administered by over 12,000 professionals across the world.
Somatic Experiencing(R) is not suitable for all clients, nor required during a Hurqalya(TM) Healing session. Healer & client will discuss the client's needs and therapeutic boundaries before the session begins.

What to Expect
In-Person Sessions
Reiki, Bars and Hurqalya (TM) Energy Healings are all practiced without physical contact, fully clothed.
The healer will introduce him- or herself and ask the client for their areas of focus: physical, energetic, emotional, and/or spiritual. Then, the client lies on a massage table or sits in a chair and the healer provides warm, nourishing energy healing.
In addition to the chosen energy healing, sessions may also include:

Recommendations for stretches or supplementary practices to bolster the process long-term
Distance Healing Sessions
Distance healing sessions offer immediate rejuvenation and relief without an in-person visit.
Communication occurs over a phone call. The healer will introduce him- or herself and ask the client for their areas of focus: physical, energetic, emotional, and/or spiritual. The healer will tune in to the client's energy remotely, then proceed with delivering the energy healing/clearing.
Clients may feel results right away!
